1 ) Sam has 1/3 _ of last week's allowance and 1/3 _ of this week's allowance. Sam bought cards with last week's allowance. How much allowance in total does Sam have left? ⅓ + ⅓ = 3/3  

2 ) Benny had to complete chores. Benny has completed 3/11 __ of the house chores and 9/11 __ of the yard chores. What fraction of all the chores has Benny done? 9 + 3 = 11/11

3 ) Sara was told to drink 2 cups of milk. Sara drank 5/6 _ of a cup of milk at lunch and 5/6 _ of a cup of milk at dinner. In total, how many cups of milk did Sara drink today?  5 + 5 = 10/6

4 ) Jason picked 3/8 _ of a bucket of pears, and Nancy picked 3/8 _ of a bucket of pears. How many buckets total did they pick?

3 + 3 = 6/8

5 ) A recipe called for 5/6 _ cup of chopped spinach, 5/6 _ cup of diced spinach, and 1/3 _ cup of tomatoes. In total, how many cups of spinach did the recipe call for?

 5 + 5 +1 = 11/6

6 ) Dan did 9/11 __ a load of laundry on Tuesday and 6/11 __ a load of laundry on Sunday. The first load was 3/4 _ colored clothes. What fraction of laundry did Dan do in total?

9 + 6 + 3 = 18/11
